As was recently announced in the Economic Action Plan 2014, the Canadian Museum of History will soon be responsible for the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC). The official transfer is scheduled to proceed on September 30, 2014.
As the move is just around the corner, CHIN will cease to publish the virtualmuseum.ca Newsletter. This issue will be its final publication and we wish to thank you for your readership over the years.
We encourage you to subscribe to the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) Newsletter for information on the latest trends in museums and technology, in Canada and beyond. Developments with regards to the transfer of the VMC will be posted to the News page of the CHIN website as they arise.
